Recording and Reporting Faults

Checking and monitoring faults is very important and must be done.
  • Checking and monitoring can relate to the operation and regular maintenance
  • faults with machines include being aware of potential problems or foreseeing what may become a problem
  • reporting faults is required
Records may include the following:
  • details of the customer
  • type of load
  • number
  • volume of loads
  • faults/problems
These items may be recorded by:
  • writing on a form
  • writing on a whiteboard
  • recorded on computer screens or
  • by telling another worker
